It’s almost impossible, and a little foolish, to judge “Wednesday Comics” in the same way as any other comic. I…

I’m sure that others will have much more to say with regards to Final Crisis, but I thought I’d offer…

June 16, 2010 12:27 pm I'm considering selling my well-worn paperbacks of this and picking it up in HC. Does anyone know if the issues are printed in chronological order like the paperbacks?

Not even Rucka's Question could save this mess. Drip. Drap. Dropped.

April 26, 2010 3:50 pm I'm going to give this a shot, but it doesn't look too promising. At least we still get Rucka writing The Question, right???

Nine books for me this week. It seems that all the Vertigo books I read (Madame Xanadu, Unknown Soldier, and Northlanders) always come out the same week. Not that I'm complaining, because they are all great books. Blackest Night, Batman and Robin, and Fantastic Four will be at the top of my stack, and I'll get to Flash: Rebirth after a quick re-reading of the previous 5 issues.

BQ: Biathlon. That way I'd be good at both skiin' and shootin'.

Wow. Big week for me too. Twelve books! I am most excited for Batman and Robin, Eaglesham back on Fantastic Four, and Green Lantern #50. Oh, and we'll finally see how Cap Reborn finishes ;)

BQ: "Fuckin' Up" by Neil Young

January 22, 2010 8:54 pm Gleason absolutely killed it this issue.
January 22, 2010 8:49 pm Dropped, but I'm probably gonna pick it up in trade. I didn't have a problem with the politics of this, although they are a little over-simplified. I know that Brubaker is clearly setting up a big story here -one that will read better in trade. The problem is the price change, and that fact that the Nomad back-up didn't do a thing for me.
January 15, 2010 12:13 pm It was a light week, so I grabbed this on a whim. I agree that this would probably confuse younger kids, but I sure enjoyed it, especially the Swedish Chef and the Fozzie bit at the end. I'm not sure if I'll keep getting it, but I'm glad I gave it a shot.

Continuing the Lawrence Brothers/Robin comparison: Jason Todd is Martin, the black sheep???

December 24, 2009 12:02 pm This was the definition of a filler issue. I read it, put it down, and couldn't remember a single thing that happened. Story was bland, and having Benes draw it didn't help either.
