    This is one of my favorite projects, so I’m happy to see it getting the HC treatment. Not happy, however, that the last issues of Shining Night, Zatanna and Klarion are being put in the second collection, but I understand why. I have these single issues, but haven’t pulled them out in years. However, 4 of the 7 minis being one volume bodes well to this being a 2 Volume HC collection, as I’d originally heard it would be 3.

    @Jackittam If you like Morrison and some b-list characters getting their due, pick this up. Manhattan Guardian, Zatanna and Klarion were probably the three best. (Shining Knight is no slouch either!) so this is really a stellar collection.

    I have yet to read this and seeing it all collected is really a sight to behold. Just look at all of those great artists! I need to get this as soon as possible.

    7 Soldiers is amazing.  A must read for any Grant Morrison fan, and the seeds of Final Crisis are here.  So amazing.

    This is my single favorite series of all time.

    And I have read a lot of comics!

    Don’t think I’ll get this since I already own the trades, though. Wonder if an Absolute would ever happen?

    @glunders I’m pretty close to agreeing with you. Really focused Morrison writing and an array of brilliant artists at the top of their games. I think this thing existing means that we won’t get an absolute, so I’m gonna pick this up. I already own the trades, but I would love to have this in one volume.

    I’m considering selling my well-worn paperbacks of this and picking it up in HC. Does anyone know if the issues are printed in chronological order like the paperbacks?

    I’m happy to see all the love here.  I agree (almost) with glunders.  This is (one of) my favorite comics of all time.  Right up there with:

    Watchmen, Dark Knight Returns, All Star Superman, Elektra:Assasin, Kingdom Come, Scalped…
