JSA 80 PAGE GIANT 2011 #1
June 27, 2011 8:47 pm @shiveringking8 The creators don't really stand out but that doesn't mean it won't be good. The last two giant sized JSA specials were wonderful inidividual showcases for these characters by some mostly unknown creators. I can't wait. I'm going get all the JSA I can before September when it stops.

FLASHPOINT THE REVERSE FLASH #1
June 20, 2011 9:36 pm There was no doubt in my mind I would get this being a fan of the Flash and very interested in any backstory to how Reverse Flash pulled this thing off. However, I am shocked by the quality of the art. Perhaps it is intentionally awkward and angular to match the character and story?

FLASH #12
May 14, 2011 11:20 am I wonder how Mark Waid, the Speed Force's creator, feels about this further interpretation of the Speed Force.

FLASHPOINT #1
May 14, 2011 11:11 am @conor I agree, teenagers (and many adults in geekdom)often pepper everyday conversation with movie quotes but in this different world I wasn't sure if it was intentional or more a space to fill in other teenager humor. I wonder if Johns felt that these references would help new readers (to the DCU or comics entirely) they hope to pull in feel comfortable and connected.

FLASHPOINT #1
May 12, 2011 12:11 am POSSIBLE SPOILER. Loved it with one exception: Did anyone else think it was weird, and possibly supposed to be filler text that didn't get changed, that the S.H.A.Z.A.M. kids used a Star Wars quote and a Harry Potter reference in this book about an alternate timeline?

FLASH #12
May 12, 2011 12:01 am Great explanation of how Thawne is using the speed force what he thinks the secret of the speed force is. This issue had loads of great scenes with excellent pacing and a variety of worthwhile moments from action and a reveal to relationship stuff.
Huge improvement over last issue

FLASHPOINT #1
May 9, 2011 11:01 pm I really hope this is a fabulously epic event for Barry Allen that is worthwhile in itself and that after that we can get back to wonderful Flash storytelling that isn't just massive setups.

DC COMICS PRESENTS THE FLASH #1
May 9, 2011 10:53 pm I would consider buying this if I didn't already own half of it in other collections. However it is a great way for people to get the Flash background as Flashpoint begins. Good move, DC! Should've come out last week though.
