Name: Casey Thomasson

Bio: Warrior from the future sent back in time to teach the past how to be awesome. And also for comics.I lean toward the tights and fights genre, but if the story's not there then neither am I (I'm lookin' at you, Fear Itself...). That said, off-beat gems like Bone, Midnight Nation and Y: The Last Man have been known to keep my attention. Green Lantern, Silver Surfer, Young Justice and the Avengers made me love comics, but the loss of Slingers taught me the bitter lessons of fanboydom. Now I just love readin' 'em, commentin' on 'em and havin' a grand ol' time!

April 23, 2013 11:05 am Funny... although I am a Superman fan deep within my bones, this trailer has me more excited than the Man o' Steel one. Got tingles at the end. No joke.
April 23, 2013 1:52 am Spider-Ock's playin' kinda rough with his rogues.
April 19, 2013 11:36 am I dunno, I can imagine quite a bit...
April 18, 2013 3:32 pm I'll explain it, Jesse: Wanting to see a woman in tights, with little-to-no clothes is not sexist. Treating her like a sub-human while she's WEARING those tights is sexist. Oggling, cat-calls, and assuming things about her simply because she's wearing tights is sexist.
April 17, 2013 9:39 pm I was startled by how good this was. I jumped on for the guest star, but I think (God help me) I'm a Vibe fan now!
April 17, 2013 9:37 pm Agreed 100%. This book is doing some fantastic world building. Way to take the ball and run.
April 17, 2013 12:09 pm This book has really turned me around, in no small part, I suspect, due to Ivan Reis' jumping on. Throne of Atlantis was one of the funnest stories this year, and I can't wait to see what comes next. Also, it may go without saying, but SHAZAM is damn near perfect, every time. I'm so very excited that it's getting its' own hardcover.
April 17, 2013 11:59 am God, Tower of Babel is so effing good.
April 17, 2013 10:22 am So... SO very worth your time.
