Well, stop me if you've heard this one: A greatly venerated silver age hero, many years gone and long since succeeded by a younger analogue, is manipulated into becoming a vessel for a great evil born of an extra-dimensional energy source. Said manipulation causes this hero to return to life, rallying the entire pantheon of DC heroes around them (along with the three variant versions of said hero) leading to the exciting reveal on the last page of issue three that the mastermind behind this entire scenario is none other than the titular hero's long-dead, yellow themed evil opposite.
