Oh, so that’s how they explain away the paralysis. I for one have no problem at all with this explanation for Barbara walking again.

While it doesn’t happen often, some people do regain the use of their legs, after severe spinal cord injury. Plus, the reboot has shortened the time that she’s spent in the chair and it’s also implied that she’s still not totally comfortable on her legs.

Having gotten that out of the way, there’s nothing keeping me interested here. Until……we see Barbara freeze up when she gets a gun pointed at her. She’s afraid of being crippled again.

Interesting, a superhero afraid of guns…

Still wondering about the new DC timeline though…

  1. I liked this Batgirl story. It wasn’t a huge leap accepting her walking again but at least she didn’t DIE and brought back. I thought the story was well paced and I liked the cliff hanger.
