I will admit I was a Stephanie Brown Fan. The last Batgirl release had just come out as I was in mid getting back into comics from a few years of not reading them.

I do remmeber Barbara lossing the ability to walk, but at that time I was strictly reading Batman and had not really followed her as Batgirl.

Why did I like Stephanie Brown, she was young and fit what I thought a Batgirl would be. Immature, to quick in making a decision, etc.

I say all that as when I bought this issue, I was wonderinng what kind of experience was I going to be in for in this new Batgirl that I was not really familiar with.

My impression overall is that I like this version, maybe not as much as Steph, but lets give it a chance to grow on me.

To me, knowing Barbara as Oracle, and now as Batgirl, it appeared to me that she has become a bit younger in this world. That sold me as being the Batgirl, instead of Batwoman had she came back from being Oracle.

In this world, it does not appear that she was ever Oracle, did anyone else get that feeling?

Again, this is the third tittle I have read in this relaunch and have been pleased with the story and direction.

This was a fence book for me as I really enjoyed the previous version and hated to see it end. I am glad I picked this one up.
