Yah it's not a Kirby looking cover at all.  Jim Steranko style.  Of course most people haven't read those.  They're excellent.  Especially Kirby's 102 issues plus annuals of Fantastic Four.

You really don't read superhero comics much huh? Hulk - best explanation was in Ed Norton's movie, it was excellent.  He bought the jumbo stretchy pants as a "just in case."  They only came in purple. Time jumps in comics can come out really really bad.  See "Wolverine: Get Mystique" by Jason Aaron or "Punisher Goin' Out West" by Matt Fraction.

DO NOT seek out his JLA.  It is one of the worst comics I have read.  And like the saying goes, "It does not hold up well today."  This was before Bendis made comic storytelling better.  The love for it is absolutely nostalgia.  his other comics are good, New X-Men being the best by far.

Very funny stuff, as usual.  Though maybe a follow up article is worth reading?  Not much depth on the actual comic was given.  I haven't read it. Only Rebirth and GL vol. 1.  Didn't love it, plus it's DC so I dropped it.  Going to get "Secret Origins" in graphic novel, 'cause I love a good origin story! (Drop Entertainment Weekly, it sucks)

I heard Superman comics dropped from 50,000 to 30,000 in sales since Superman left.  Yikes. Sword #1 wasn't good.  Haven't heard this podcast yet.

The re-naming re-numbering thing has been going on forever indeed.  It doesn't bother me, and usually means the story will be better, which is why they promote these shakeups.  As long as the story is good I'm in.  I also like seeing what a story is worth.  I have some valuable comics as well.  Pretty cool.

Definitely love that Batman video. Can we talk about the problems that movie had?  Like EVERYTHING besides the Joker was bad! Based on his recent stuff, he's one of my favorite writers, so I'm definitely getting this.
