Name: Patrick Moore

First, about me. My name's Patrick. I'll be 31 in March '08, and I work as a Mailman in South NJ.

I'm a long time comic fan with a soft spot for the Avengers. I made my first comic purchase when I was 8, and now over 20 years later I'm still going strong. My "Holy Trinity" of heroes are Captain America, Thor, and Spider-Man, in that order. I have almost every issue of the Avengers ever printed,  missing the first 3 and a few  random  books here and there. My favorite  comic creators  include JRSr, Stan "The Man" Lee, Roy Thomas, Brian Micheal Bendis, Ed Brubaker, Sean Phillips, Sal Buscema, Robert Kirkman, Todd McFarlane, Jae Lee, Mark Gruenwald, and many many others.

I love conventions! I try to make it to both the New York Comic Con and Wizard World Philly every year, with high hopes to one day make it to the big show in San Diego at least once. I often work at some of the small local cons as a vendor with 10 or so long boxes of back issues and collectible toys.

Ten Implausible Things About Already Implausible Concepts

On Nov 19, 2009 9:00 AM

Ok, I'll give this a shot:   1 Wonder Woman Jet: No clue  2 Smallville: don't watch it 3 Hulk Pants: good point, as someone pointed out, he grows in hight and his cuffs get torn, but they shouldn't stretch that much at the waste. Maybe the real reason Hulks angry is because he has tight pants. That would make me pretty upset. As for his shirt: remember  the70's live action T...

'Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2' Hits Today

On Sep 15, 2009 12:00 PM

BM:AA was awesome, but the key word here is "was". It was beaten on normal in 3 days, with little replay value besides going back to find riddles and get achevements /trophies for bragging rights on your respective consoles. It was great and a lot of fun, but for $60, I was hoping for a game to last more then a weekend. Marvel: UA2 will be just as much fun and take longer to...

Diamond says: "No comics for you!" (In December. For one week.)

On Aug 18, 2009 10:24 PM

What will I do that week and a half in Dec? Given the time of year, I'll spend time with family, hang with friends, Eat, drink and be merry. In a way, it's a good thing, because I'll probably be too broke after the holiday to get new books that week anyhow.

08.09.2009 - 'G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra'

If you look at the original Version 2 Snake Eyes toy (visor + Timber), it also had lips on the mask... The movie version of the toy has it as well. I'm guessing it was a nod to the original toy which they probably used to reference the costume.
