I may be the minority here but I sorta liked all those words in Superman #1. It reminded me of that time I read War and Peace – ahhh, memories.

I like the feeling of buying a comic, reading it, and afterwards saying “you know, I totally got my moneys worth.” Sure, it took all day to read….

All joking aside, I did like the book. Like, not love, let’s don’t get carried away here. One of the things I liked was that it wasn’t afraid to be a comic book. Perez is old school that’s for sure, and it shows in his storytelling.

Definitely an 80’s vibe to this comic – maybe that’s why I liked it.
