In the wake of all the new Bat-titles coming out this summer, this one can get overlooked.  To me, that…

@ABirdseyeView  I agree.  It felt like it was building, building... then nothing.  Over way too quick for me.

Also, it has nothing to do with the current run at all.  Very seperate.

All in all it was OK.  2/3, only for big Thor fans or completionists.

June 18, 2009 7:02 pm This is not one I am getting,=.  In fact I don't even recall it being on my LCS shelves.  What am I missing?  Is it really that good?  I thought people were being sarcastic when they said they liked it.
June 4, 2009 10:27 am @PraxJarvin I know what you mean.  I think it is becuase she is rude and ignorant in interviews and on set.  I don't for me, you got be a total package, not just looks.  But hey, I'm old school.
June 3, 2009 10:24 pm Well I had decided to drop this one before I got to the LCS and my thoughts were right.  I picked this one up anyway to end the arc.  I was not too terribly thrilled.  I love the premise (being too new to have read it's predecessor).  But it just doesn't hit it right for me.  That's OK, it's absence will make room for the slue of new batbooks coming my way.

I agreee - bring him back as Hawkeye.  Only, that would mean we would lose the current "Hawkeye", shucks (sarcasm in case you didn't catch it).

I only got this one to finish the mini.  It was OK, just OK.  I found myself as excited over the Sept ads as I did the end.  Not bad, not great.  3 stars.

Kind of a downer issue.  I hadn't even meant to get it.  I had dropped it, but my LCS guy had it in my stack, couldn't say no.

Overall not my fave, they interview parts seem to make the book drag on a bit.  Plus I am really tiread of the Osborn "hair", holy crap can we get that fixed?

@coltrane68 I think it is becuase not many americans actually know nowt about the sport.

I actually preffered that part better than the first.  But that was my main draw into the series, the "non-US"-ness of it all.  I like getting things from a different perspective, and if it's English I am definitely there!  Anyone have any British themed books I can turn to at the conclusion of this title?

First off, I'm still new to comics, but man that was fun.  That was the first comic I have ever re-read, it was that good to me.  They had me with the first panel on the first page.  Love the "BOOM".

I am definitely one of those people who say art is ubjectional and noone can say what is really good, it's all an opnion.  Then I ate my words.  That was great.  The page with them floating down with the bat symbol behind them, I want that framed on my wall.

Even in my newness that was awesome.  5/5 POTW, hands down.

Is there any news of which issues/arcs the movie will be based on?  Or is it just "bassed on the characters from the comic"?

Batman and Robin #1 - like everyone else in all comicdom

New Avengers Reunion #4 - I feel I owe it to my LCS guy, he dug up the first 3 for me because he knows I like New Avengers.  Not digging this mini, but hey only one more ight?

Exiles #3  - prob gonna drop this one too, too many bat books coming out in june

And the Cap Britain annual - I am glad to see that my early foray into comics (my first comic I ever bought was Thor #600 if that gives you hint to my newbie status) has already killed a comic.  And looks like a second one is also headed for the crapper in Immortal Iron Fist.  Oh well, these new bat titles will be around for EVER!  Right?
