This title has been a lot of fun so far. I just wish they’d get rid of this cover artist. The art inside is so much better!! Let the interior artist do the covers, I know it sounds crazy, but give it a try…
Blasphemy! How dare you suggest a lowly interior artist be allowed to do one more splash page and put the highly superior cover artists out of work! She’s a witch! Burn her!
Glad I once again have enjoyable Exiles comics to read!
I really didn’t want to like this book as I think the Winnick Exiles run is untouchable. But here we go, a writer interjecting fun and life into a book that, since the end of the "World Tour" arc has been dead in the water. Love the writing, didn’t think the art was all that great truth told. I actually would prefer the Cover artist.
Feels like it’s been a long time since the last one. Could just be me.
Well I had decided to drop this one before I got to the LCS and my thoughts were right. I picked this one up anyway to end the arc. I was not too terribly thrilled. I love the premise (being too new to have read it’s predecessor). But it just doesn’t hit it right for me. That’s OK, it’s absence will make room for the slue of new batbooks coming my way.
Yeah dropping this too.
Fun issue, though a bit rushed. I didn’t think the pencils were as strong as on the first two issues; if the art duties were shared, that explains it. Still thoroughly enjoying this book.
The art felt rushed? or the pace the story felt rushed?
I’m loving this book and I like that after 3 issues we’re onto another reality already. I much prefer the boom, boom, boom pace of world hopping. It’s fun and I’m really starting to like the team.
Oh, sorry that wasn’t clear. I thought the story felt rushed b/c it was trying to wrap up a lot in a short time.
The art duties were a different issue.
Yeah the story did seem to wrap up a little quickly. But I am liking the slow reveal that Blink knows what is going on.
