Initially, I wasn’t too thrilled about “The Others” being interrupted by this zero issue, so I was not that interested,…

February 3, 2013 8:58 pm I had lost interest in "Rise of the Third Army," except for the Simon Baz storyline; but I have to admit that this annual was a pleasant surprise. The way everything came together was fantastic. Please check my mini-review here: http://bit.ly/XhUjZq Comments and feedback are always welcome!
February 2, 2013 8:23 pm My favorite part of this issue is the connection to "New Avengers," but I am still on the fence with Hyperion and Captain Universe; both of them are too similar to The Sentry, so it feels like that story has already been told. February 1, 2013 8:33 pm I can't get over how awesome Ethan Van Sciver's artwork is in this issue. His interpretation of the Mad Hatter is amazing; that wandering eye... dont you feel like reaching out into the page and setting it straight? January 31, 2013 2:56 pm This is the one where crap hits the fan -in a good sense. The league expands, the trench returns, Aquaman and friends make nice, and the big baddie is revealed. Great set-up for the conclusion of the crossover. Johns better not back down from having Mera join the League. January 29, 2013 10:17 pm Rocking issue, especially the art! It reminds me so much of Jim Lee's days with the X-Men. Storm looks super-cool. Wonder what happened to Psylocke during the six month gap. And does that thing with Fantomex qualify as incest? Please check my mini-review here: http://bit.ly/11bqSuI Comments and feedback are always welcome!
January 29, 2013 10:16 pm Issue #16 of Green Lantern makes great strides to forward Simon's story. Nice to see he is not just another Green Lantern, but that there is something extra-special about him. B'dg is awesome (I know, right?) and look who's Hal and Sinestro's host! January 27, 2013 8:33 pm FF#3 was such a hoot! Loved the whole Darla & Ant-Man vs. the Yancy Street Gang part. I can't wait to see more of Medusa and Shulkie. And that story John Storm came up with? Doesn't sound plausible... this guy is hiding something. Please check my mini-review here: http://bit.ly/112EAEM Comments and feedback are always welcome!
January 26, 2013 7:54 pm Ivan Reis, Joe Prado, and Rod Reis rocked this issue with the coolest fighting scenes; especially that spread with the Atlantean armada rising out of the water, with Arthur, Diana, and Orm in the foreground... amazing! I was a bit bummed that Mera did not play any role in the story, but the last page was like "yeah!!!" Please check my mini-review here: http://bit.ly/Wousmm Comments and feedback are always welcome!
January 25, 2013 3:26 pm My mind was blown away by Jerome OpeƱa's pencils in this issue; every single one of his panels is so carefully done... his art is just beautiful. I dont know that I like this Captain Universe person; seems too powerful and a little crazy. Too much like Sentry, and we all know how that ended. January 24, 2013 3:24 pm After the boring interlude featuring Det. Maggie Sawyer, Batwoman is back on track with an amazing issue. Everyone and their mother shows on this one, tons of action and character development. Of course Williams' art is the cherry on top.
