Initially, I wasn’t too thrilled about “The Others” being interrupted by this zero issue, so I was not that interested,…

February 16, 2013 7:48 pm The issue covers a lot of ground. Wrapping-up Joker's arc, continuing with James Jr's crazy game, and even finding time to re-introduce Firebug, Fawkes did a good job here. The narrative feels a tad strange, though. And did Batgirl stop a rocket with a bag? Please check my mini-review here: http://bit.ly/14YVmE7 Comments and feedback are always welcome!
February 14, 2013 9:45 pm I was not expecting to like this, so I was pleasantly surprised that I actually found it entertaining. It was pretty straight-forward and to the point. Please check my mini-review here: http://bit.ly/WLT4pQ Comments and feedback are always welcome!
February 13, 2013 9:33 pm This arc's downfall was the hype machine that overrated it. Please check my mini-review here: http://bit.ly/Wo6aYG Comments and feedback are always welcome!
February 12, 2013 9:25 pm Issue #3 has a lot going on for it. It's Superior Spider-Man vs The Vulture, an eye-opening moment for Doc Ock, also Pete gets to take a peek inside his enemy's mind, and poor, poor Carlie who right now will be a likely casualty once all is said and done. The issue was a good combination of action and character development, so it was quite enjoyable. Please check my mini-review here: http://bit.ly/12dAXwh Comments and feedback are always welcome!
February 10, 2013 8:39 pm The best story in this book was Aquaman and Mera's. The one I liked the least was Apollo and Midnighter's (still, kudos for having a gay couple in the special). I also liked that the stories were not all soppy; however, even with the mini-cards, $8 is a lot o money to pay for a comic. February 9, 2013 9:19 pm Smasher's issue is much better than Hyperion's, not only from the plot and characterization angles, but also the artwork; whether it's Adam Kubert stepping up his game, or Frank Martin's colors that enhance the visuals, the whole thing was a joy. Love the Imperial Guard. Please check my mini-review here: http://bit.ly/V7sOFi Comments and feedback are always welcome!
February 8, 2013 9:01 pm The writing in Detective #17 was quite enjoyable, and the fact that it was only indirectly tied to "Death of the Family." Jason Fabok is an amazing artist, and Jeromy Cox's colors work really well with the tone of the book. Too bad that Merrymaker left as quickly as he came, it seemed like a cool character, or maybe i'm just tired of seeing the Penguin everywhere. February 7, 2013 8:20 pm The first chapter of "The tower of Fate" was a great set-up for the rest of the arc. Khalid is an interesting choice over Kent Nelson to be the host of Fate, but the character's premise is intriguing, however. I was also excited to see Sonia Sato show up in this one, I hope we get to see her in her other identity. Nicola Scott rocked it, as usual. February 7, 2013 8:19 pm Oh, this one is a jaw dropper. Hickman picked the right moment to throw this major twist at us, I loved it, and am very excited about where this is going. Tony Stark is going to hell for what he did... does this man ever learn from his mistakes? Please check my mini-review here: http://bit.ly/YI2e52 Comments and feedback are always welcome!
February 5, 2013 9:49 pm I love the artwork in this title. Kenneth Rocafort's style is very similar to that of the much missed Michael Turner. There is a lot of unused page space, but I'm sure that has more to do with the writing. So, is Krypton's story being retconned for the New 52, or is everything H'El says a lie?
