June 4, 2013 9:42 pm what do you mean "where are they going?" They already went there. Every meme you see and 9gag cartoon shared around is in fact a cartoon/comic, isn't it? Many are single panel gags, many are sequential, and there are recognizable characters and situations. It's anonymous and crowdsourced comics, of course, so there's not much artistry our auteur-istry I should say, but I always smile because I think how common and natural cartoons are nowadays.

June 3, 2013 8:51 pm at first I thought it was a sarcastic self-commentary that "all the ladies on the cover actually show up in this issue." But then I looked at the cover and thought wow, that really IS saying somethign!

May 21, 2013 1:47 am i always thought Shazam could make an interesting big Broadway musical, another art form that's kind of a throwback to the 40s. Sure, you'd have to solve a few problems in translating to a live stage, but Shazam would make a more natural transition than, say, Spider-man or Batman.

February 5, 2013 8:39 pm when u sign up for a subscription service at the shop part of agreement is that you are supposed to tell him two months in advance if you want to drop a title because of diamond previews. He's a pretty cool guy though and i've done it before so i'm sure it won't be a problem. basically i agree it sucks but there are not many options for a comic shop around here. I would be more likely to drop the subscription service than to drop the shop. With all this double shipping i would be surprised if it doens't force a change somehow. :(

February 5, 2013 6:27 pm the price is too much for such a schedule. I would rather buy other books so my budget can be more planned. I will probably drop this cold turkey if my comic shop will let me. :(

February 5, 2013 6:25 pm it's hard to comment exactly because I don't know what Im going to get, but that is also what makes it one of my most anticipated books this week. oK so I can comment that I love the cover, love the logo, love the mixup of familiar characters. Hope it's good!

January 26, 2013 4:54 am huh. well that was more disappointing than I hoped. Maybe i set myself up too high. I liked the first double page spread but the second was confusing. There was way too much back and forth dialogue with simple panels. Everything seemed disconnected and unrelated, like an anthology comic. There are hints of good stuff to come, but needs a lot more to make me invested emotionally in the team overall.

November 19, 2012 10:32 pm jumping off, i'm afraid. Too many characters I don't really care about having adventures that I'm not interested in, with too many other comics expensive...
