March 5, 2010 11:24 pm Yeah, I gave up caring a looong time ago. Now, I just like good comics, doesn't matter to me who the publisher is or what petty feuds exist.
February 28, 2010 12:20 am Nice ep guys! Yeah SiP is one of the best. I admit to not being into it right from the start, but I remember being very interested in it's 'realism' early on. But then the Image switch happened. But then I was back on for the remainder! ;)
@Mangaman, it wasn't the name alone that got the lawsuit started, it was his actual likeness, that was used, and helped the lawsuit, from what I remember. That's why no toys were made of the character.
Yeah. I agree with Conor, those X-Babies recent comics are NOT for the kids, but for old timer X-Men fans.
And, what was the deal with the prices you put up with the comics? O.o Single issues are NOT 9.99! But like others, there are many more comics for kids not mentioned, though probably more for the teenset than the younger ones.
And let me say that Ron seems to be getting to militaristic with his nieces, I mean...quizzing them on their issues? Really? O.o Let them enjoy them first Ron!!
@mansuper, that's a good idea, but I wonder if they would damage the bags and I would guess you would not want to OVERdry the paper, and where does one purchase them!? O.o
Though, I don't remember these, 'mini' reviews? O.o
Ron, Great segment and spotlight on some cool indies I must check out!
Conor! Fun stuff, but your intro sucks! Why delve into what you THINK the issue was about, when it was just interesting hearing your thoughts after reading it?
Josh, the final piece. Great stuff as I look at my old comics' ads too! But, I mean, the M&M's, they are not that much more detailed even now! They are just round candies with limbs!
GAH!! Snadman was part of the Avengers?!!??? O.o
I hate the 90's Avengers!! grrr... :(
Great ep guys, some great books/series showcased.
