LOL, as the end of the year approaches you guys lose it more and more throughout the podcast! Hysterical! ;D

 I get the feeling that Josh would rather make funny than talk abou the books!  But you guys have some great reviews, i just wish you would actually review some of those 20 or so books, rather than just the usuals...

I can give Smith props for being a prolonged successful creator, but honestly, I never got the excitement about Bone or why it was so 'good'.  O.o

 And I definitely don't put him in the same sentence as some other 'indie' artists, who really formed a movement well before and better than Smith.

Haha! So Ali IS a real girl! :)  And, I don't think Ennis really went away, he just writes more and more comics, so his 'fame' is more diversified and not as focused as it was in the past.

 Plus, I'm totally with you guys on the video game thing.  I mean, I love some rpg's and esp, any Mechwarrior games, but for me, right now, comics fulfill my need for fantasy more than anything and video games take up sooo much time!

 Well, I hope you guys get a good rest on your break, but when you come back you'll be nice and refreshed! :)

 I know, these posts are tiring, and I know it seems like it's only my problem, so this will be the last of it.  I love Darwyn, I just wish I could actually hear the convo! :(

 Maybe the boom guy is too far away?

oh cool!  maybe you didn't do anything, but I'm relistening, and this sounds much better, volume-wise! :)

 Also, I don't know what the deal is, but I find myself less interested in the Power Girl book than initially.  I just LOVE Amanda's art, but I feel that people are not writing for her style correctly.  Jimmy in particular, as of late.

She has a kinda comedic, goofy take on characters that lends itself more to the 'slice of life' stuff more than the, all out superhero stuff, imo.  And while for her, it must be good work, I would just like to see whoever is in charge, consider the artist and writer more so that they're styles are complimentary.  unless Amanda is asking for Jimmy to write for her or something.

@ Connor, yeah, I dunno.  It just seemed a bit lower than normal for me.  And I have a new HP, but the speakers are the integrated kind.  Still, even with everything way up, it's hard to hear most of the show.  And listening to the next podcast, it's kinda the same.  :(

 But since nothing can be done, I'll have to deal.  Thanks for the response though.

As I told someone recently on their podcast, it's occasionally hard to hear you guys, even with all my volumes turned up.  As it's summer, I have in the background a fan or AC running.  Is there any way possible to record or talk into the mic louder?  O.o
