January 23, 2013 4:55 pm I think this is Posehn's first book. Gerry Duggan, his co-writer, has done a few other books though. Both comedians, both hilarious, and I loved this issue. Hilarious

November 27, 2012 3:45 pm I completely understand the single run collection sentiment. Being a new collector all it's been so hard to resist buying all the MarvelNOW #1's for the sole reason that I might miss the next big thing. Trades on the run are fine, but there IS something special about having those single issues. Now, sure I've bought a couple of them simply because of the creative team, characters, concept i.e. Deadpool All New X-men and FF, but it's hard to skip on the other ones. I'm more a "fanboy" than a collector and have a deep admiration for comic books and all the characters, but when I don't have Snyder's and Capullo's Batman #1 first print, I become just as irked as I would be if the title became stale. I'm excited for MarvelNOW, as a fan and as a collector. Lot of opportunity to find and own that great complete run of singles.

October 3, 2012 12:38 pm Civil War Trade. First comic book I've ever read. Looking at some of the coolest superheroes I know duking it out was great. Looking back on it now, it wasn't the best event, but grateful that it kicked off my interest in comic books.
