November 22, 2012 2:18 am I'm not reading any of the Superman titles but in this book the way he's always floating just inches off the ground reminds me of how Black Adam used to do and it always came across as arrogant. This new Superman is just so....bland in this title.
November 21, 2012 2:54 am One of the consistently best books out right now.
November 21, 2012 12:10 am Loved it. Did NOT see that coming...
November 17, 2012 10:02 pm This even tops Ron in his Cure/Goth outfit that he did on the video show a few years back! You can tell everyone had a blast and it looked like a lot of fun!
November 14, 2012 12:24 am "My MUTANT name is Cyclops..." ick.
November 8, 2012 2:36 pm In the strictest sense you are right, but each case is different and I am fairly confident that any DA would decline to prosecute or offer a small fine for it. Also defense of others is always a valid defense to a crime if it factually lines up. And in a circumstance like that I would be willing to take my chances. Guys who are about violence against women are reprehensible and if I have to face a misdemeanor charge to prevent a rape or attempted rape then so be it. Zero tolerance.
November 8, 2012 12:20 pm I'm not a cosplayer but rape threats and general disrespect of women like that is NOT cool! If I was at a con and saw that I would kick the guy's ass then throw him out of the building. There is NO room for behavior like that and it won't be tolerated.
November 6, 2012 11:49 pm Looking at the art on this issue and it reminds of the cartoon "8th Man" from when I was a kid.
November 2, 2012 12:51 am For me it's The Walking Dead hands down. I see a lot of love for Snyder's Batman, Saga, and Waid's Daredevil and all of it is warranted, and for other notable books too. But as has been mentioned on the podcast before, The Walking Dead is so consistently great each month for such a long time its easy to take for granted. Which is why it's the best book; consistent excellence over the span of 102 issues, and counting. Not knocking any of the other books at all, but let's where they are at the 100 issue mark. Will the same creators be involved? Will the quality remain at a high level? Will the characters retain their quality? Who knows? But The Walking Dead has achieved that high standard for so long that it's easy to overlook it. Which is why it's the best. It's consistent greatness is a given.
October 28, 2012 6:30 pm Cool! I will track that down, thanks!
