The title says it all. Enjoy.

  1. EMF? Initially I thought: “Strange choice”, but it really works. Always find it weird when people outside of the UK know certain music and cultural references.

Congrats to Darwyn and his new bride.

  2. Haha, nice job, Ron!

  3. hahahahhahahhah

That was great good show Ron, as no stranger to the karaoke mic myself i know i need to get about 10 drinks in me first but its enjoyable

  4. Awesome! Totally awesome!

  5. Ermahgerd, Ron’s dance moves are suhweet!

  6. ROOOOONNNNN!

  7. I love that you can clearly hear Connor yelling the OHHHHHHHHHHs.

Good friends always sing backup karaoke

  8. Ron … you’re unbelievable.

    Well done, sir.

Congrats to Mr. Cook and his new missus.

  9. Hey my daughter won the high school beauty pageant tonight, but I didn’t sing at Darwyn’s wedding. Congrats and good luck. Nice job Ron, looked like a fun timel

  10. what? you think just because a guy reads comics he can’t rock the mic?:)

    that was Unbelievable. ohhh!

    congrats Darwyn. you rock Ron.

  11. This even tops Ron in his Cure/Goth outfit that he did on the video show a few years back! You can tell everyone had a blast and it looked like a lot of fun!

  12. Darwin Cooke’s wedding! Ok now I’m jealous.

  13. AMAZING! (especially Marsha and Darwyn dancing/kissing!)

Big congrats to Marsha and Darwyn. All the tweets from Vegas made things seem like a huge blast 🙂

  14. Did not see this coming at all!

  15. Is it just me, or does Ron have almost the exact same singing voice as Rodney Anonymous from the Dead Milkmen?

Looks like one kick ass wedding! And this is coming from a guy who’s wedding was basically the “short short version” from Spaceballs.

Big congrats to Darwyn Cooke and his new bride and great job Ron!

  16. This totally made my weekend!

  17. Never let it be said Ron’s singing can’t cause women to dance wildly on top of tables. 🙂

Congratulations to the new bride and groom. May they have a long, happy life together.

  18. The greatest video ever posted to ifanboy?

    Yes. Indeed.

Congratz to Darwyn and his wife, and to Ron for his mad skillz of the mike.

  19. WOW! That was incredible! I need to know the name of Ron’s dance!

PS – This video made me think of this old tv commercial.

  20. Mr Richards – You’re a #*$king Legend! 🙂

And I now have a compulsion to acquire EMF in a format LATER than vinyl…. 🙁

  21. For some reason from a distance this reminded me of the Billy Joel cover band from stelp brothers. God i love that movie

  22. Now I really want a “iFanboy Weekly Video Karoke Podcast”!!
    Good job, Ron!
And Congratulations to Mr. Cooke and his wife

  23. And that’s how it’s done!!! fucking great young man. I am jealous, if that is anything to go by, that was a great party.
I was worried about the lady on the table but then had to force myself to relax. Was that the bride.
    Party on Ron.
Dance like no ones looking, best thing in the world. (not a critique of anyone there, a celebration and a hat tilt)
    Congrats Darwyn

  24. OMG That was AWESOME! I think Ron has found a new career. Also congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Cooke

  25. that looked like great fun.
funny that song seams like know one out side England should know it.

    • Really? That song was pretty popular in the US back in something like 1991 or 92. I was only a kid, but I remember hearing it on the radio quite a bit. I also remember it being featured heavily in a commercial for one of those “Hits of 90s” compilation packages.

    • Yeah it was a pretty big song here in the States. A one-hit wonder for us, no doubt, but I’d wager that most people between the ages of 25 and 50 would recognize it immediately.

A lot more of your stuff makes it over than you might realize. And we instantly ruin it. Because we’re America. 🙂

    • @WHeelHands: I spent a summer in London a while back. There’s a lot of British music that doesn’t make it over here, and we are DEFINITELY better off for it (google “N-Dubz” for one prime example, they’re like a watered down Black Eyed Peas — if such a thing were even possible).

  26. Oh Ron. You really are y favorite Fanboy.

  27. That was great!

One question, though. If it’s a live band, is it still Karaoke? Isn’t it just singing with a band? Which is, of course, much cooler than Karaoke…

  28. Yes. Just, yes.

  29. That was epic, Cyclops would be proud

  30. Ouuuhhhh the joys of an era of Smart Phones with anyone being able to record anything anywhere and put it on youtube in a matter of minutes! 😀

Man, you rocked that song and you rocked that stage!

Congrats to the newly weds! 🙂

  31. Nerd Karaoke! OOOHHHH!!!

  32. Ron needs to hang with Andrew W.K. and Conan http://i.imgur.com/hQy3C.gif

  33. Ron, you’re adorable. I want to get married just so I can have you there!

  34. Who ever said White Guys can’t dance????

  35. EMF! Hats off Ron.
Here’s hoping you followed up with a little Sultans of Ping or Neds.

  36. Amazing.

  37. Wow. Awesome.

  38. Way to go Ron, love the dance moves on stage. XD
