October 3, 2018 6:36 am Ah, yes i see after watching this. I was not aware of the Seed thing. This started well i thought. I didn't know about the link to the tv shows and thought they had snuck out a regular DC animation. Look forward to the next official coming together of the ABT.
October 1, 2018 3:35 pm Did Freedom Fighters: The Ray sneak up like a Eminem album or did we know? I had not heard about it at all. Just me? Brain Trust getting together?
May 25, 2014 5:40 pm The Constantine trailer. When i started i thought it was a fan made thing, it was just a little off. I think it is as you say that he looks a little cosplay. Also the accent is cliche tv not good Irish, Seems lazy. I think they are going to miss the point and make his a 'cheeky chapy' sort. The Film would have been fine if they had got a really good actor to play John. this i think will not be as good as the film, hope the actor does better than i foresee him being. it will be different so lets hope it's good. What a great week for art this week. Daredevil was amazing, Electra, the X books and others. We are in a great time for comics.
May 25, 2014 10:16 am Oh god no!!! The 'iGuys' thing was a typo, I just meant to say guys. Don't judge me!!!
May 25, 2014 10:13 am So have we retconned Ron leaving? This just gets better and better. Loved this movie and I was really glad to see how quickly the podcast was up and then Ron!!! The cherry on top Thank guys, this added perfectly to the whole experience of watching this film. Thanks iGuys.
April 6, 2014 5:03 pm I was really looking forward to you guys reviewing this film. I think it was released in the UK earlier than US for some reason. So i have been sitting on it a week or so. I totally agree with pretty much everything you said. I think this maybe the best comic book translated to film. I love the Dark Knight but think of that as a adaptation to film, this was a straight up Comic film. I thought it took a lot of inspiration from Nick Fury vs S.H.I.E.L.D. for all the hydra hidden amongst us stuff. as well as the Cap books. 9 year old me was so happy and waited 30 something years for this. Really nothing to say that you had not covered but wanted to chip in as this film made me so happy.
September 1, 2013 4:46 pm Champ! Champ, wake up Champ.... I thought that was a tear jerking moment. I am gutted, sad news but i get it and support it and want to thank you all for all you have done. I found iFanboy a few years ago and you held my hand a led me back into the world of comics. A world i love dearly and I am currently enjoying this golden time we are all in. It would not have happened without the guidance, the validation and most importantly the massive enjoyment of the entertainment you have all supplied here at iFanboy. To all of you new and old, current and passed, Thanks very much and i will see you on Sunday.
May 24, 2013 3:20 am Hey, what if Marvel just ret-con Quicksilver and have it turn out that he is not a Mutant and Magneto just adopted him and now use him in Avengers. Could that work? I am surer not but why? If it did work they could then say "Oh it turns out Wolverine was bitten by a radioactive...well Wolverine" He's in the Avengers!!!! That would be the best loop hole in the world.
May 19, 2013 5:17 pm Great show fellas. I have yet to see the film but i am happy to go and see it knowing what i now know. I don;t think it can be called spoiling when you are just letting me know i already knew. I think i will have a better experience going in knowing this.
May 18, 2013 5:02 am I had just announced publicly (to myself) that "I love this book" The panel of \Green Lantern swooping in to Boston and finding the Flash in the middle of a fight and then them re-grouping and setting off to take on the World Army made me so happy. Something about the design and that this team feels like it is now coming together as a team on it's way to being a family just hit all the right points for me. I was looking forward to the future of this book tucked away from the greater DCU to do it's own thing. This news is sad and worrying. Lets hope they get someone really good on it and leave it alone to do it's own thing.
