January 13, 2011 5:39 am This is really weird.  I'm enjoying Guillem March's art.  I hated his work on Gotham City Sirens, but this is exceptionally solid stuff.  Story's picking up too.

I think everyone is moaning about the wrong thing here.  This issue was okay, as has most of Daniel's stuff (even if it hasn't been mind-blowing).

 

Catgirl is the problem.  A big fucking problem. 

October 29, 2010 1:45 pm Although, I loved Andreyko's shameless admission of Manhunter, who he helped define/create.  I miss Kate Spencer.  Gail Simone should have her as a full-time BoP.

October 29, 2010 1:43 pm Andreyko could do better -- but, that said, this was clearly an issue ordered to contribute to the "Return" one-shot theme.  As part of that arc, this was a really good issue.  As an "Oracle" and Bruce stand-alone, it was poor.

October 29, 2010 1:42 pm I can't stand the art in this run.  This could have been a kinda interesting story, without the carnival artwork.  I'm suddenly not looking forward to his upcoming arc on Batman and Robin with Paul Cornell.  Cornell deserves better (for a gritty-sounding story), as he's proved with Action Comics.
