September 7, 2011 6:30 pm Not so bad after all the fuss. Credit where it's due, they didn't shirk around the Killing Joke/paralysis angle and ignore it like I thought they would.
In whatever capacity, both Barbara Gordon and Gail Simone are enough to keep me on this for a while, until either my faith is rewarded or it becomes more effort than it's worth.
You don't have to thank me for anything -- but, conversely, I think the comics readership owe you an enormous gratitude. Detective Comics has had us spoiled for years as it is. Those Dini/Nguyen stories from a few years back were sublime: I didn't think anything would top that. Then Greg Rucka and JH came along and we all know what happened there: I didn't think anything would top that.
Wrong again.
So, thank you.
P.S. Any chance of Jock joining you on your upcoming Batman run after Capullo's had a good whack at things?
July 27, 2011 9:04 pm I didn't pick this up purely because of the cover. It's hideous. What the hell's going on with Kyle's neck? Why, for the love of God, is Soranik's chest desperately trying to escape her top? I adored her when she first came on the scene, but now she's just the resident GL pin-up, and not in a good way.
May 12, 2011 2:46 am I will hunt down and torture every single person involved with iFanboy if this article gets noticed and generates support for Bradley Cooper, ultimately ending with his casting.
Because this is a terrible idea and you will be 100% responsible for destroying my favourite superhero.
Otherwise, keep up the good work. Quite like the Harvey Keitel idea, but he's a bit too old now.
March 25, 2011 7:18 am Huh, that was actually excellent. The last five or six issues of this series have been quite misguided and awry (thanks in no short part to skewed release dates and second feature screw-ups), but this was a really strong finish to the title.
And I love that Hush is gonna need those bandages for real now.

RANT OVER.

Sorry. There's your terrible, terrible joke for the week.
