February 13, 2013 11:49 pm I agree totally with that assessment, on the plus side having these two issues done in a different POV makes it a very easy transition back to Gail with issue #19. James is more effective as a character when you are only privy to the results of his actions and planning. Ray Fawkes did a fine job telling this tale, but I would have no interest in it if it weren't going to be followed by the return of Gail Simone.
February 7, 2013 7:01 am I couldn't have said it better myself! I want to shout it from the rooftops that people need to buy this book but I suspect that would just succeed in making me look a little nutty. The art is breathtaking, this Facundo Percio is amazing.
February 6, 2013 4:05 pm This book is wicked fun! To be fair, I signed onto this series for Dani Moonstar next issue (YES!) However I am pleasantly surprised, it's a hit the ground running kind of start up with ass kickin' and great character moments. My only complaint was that I really want to read the next issue right now.
January 30, 2013 8:12 am First comic read out of my stack and I have to say this title blows me away. I think Si Spurrier is an enormous talent with such a knack for dialogue and just whacked out but awesome ideas.
January 23, 2013 4:29 pm This was an awesome issue, I may have gotten my wish!
January 22, 2013 7:51 am I've taken this off and re-added it to my pull list so many times in the past 5 months. It's very uneven and when I think I am done with it seems Marjorie Liu pulls off a really good issue. I am liking this new storyline and actually really liked Susan Hatchi and how that storyline ended. I just wish it would kick it up a notch to being a more consistent strong book.
December 22, 2012 7:19 am I completely agree with you! This book has been consistently entertaining and clever. It's the really fun X-title more people should try.
December 20, 2012 6:26 am This book had the odds stacked against it in my mind, I loved Kid Loki 's tale and wasn't even going to continue, The art caught my attention and much to my surprise, it's really well written. I am kinda captivated by what's happening here...
December 13, 2012 12:16 am Well....that was unexpected. This series has been amazing and it exposed me to the talented Si Spurrier so I am grateful for that. It shall be missed, but I suspect it will go out with quite a bang,
December 13, 2012 12:07 am This issue just makes the whole situation that more baffling. Easily the best issue of the series. It was cathartic and really dark It's the showdown that's so much more personal and one that;s been brewing since the Killing Joke,
