  1. The last issue was horrifying. I hope this one is equally so.

  2. This title has been consistently good since the re-launch. Do DC think that it’ll sell more if someone other than Gail Simone writes it?

    • Consistently good? I think most people would disagree. It has been a roller coaster, some week amazing, some weeks not. Reading the run together makes for a better read than did reading a comic once a month did. I think DC was hoping the return of Barbara would make this comic top-10 worthy.

  3. The thing that irritates me is that I honestly took this off my pull list around #7 then picked up the prelude issue. Ed Benes and Gail Simone make a great team and it felt like the title really came together. I added it to my pull list again only to fire off an email this morning taking it off. Sadly this takes my DC pull list to single digits.

    • This issue just makes the whole situation that more baffling. Easily the best issue of the series. It was cathartic and really dark It’s the showdown that’s so much more personal and one that;s been brewing since the Killing Joke,

  4. The ending of this issue…the ending, what was even said just flabbergasted me. And, it’s going to be so wrong when DC let’s someone other than Gail finish the Death in the Family storyline. Debating dropping it now.

  5. Fantastic issue!

What exactly are Bob Harras & his team playing at? They think their creative instincts are superior to Gail’s? They are wrong & subsequent sales will prove it. Gail’s final issue will also be mine.

I feel a little sorry for Mr. Fawkes but DC are doing my head in. And losing my custom.

  6. Another good issue. I like how each title basically has it’s own Joker story going on. Makes it much easier to read. I’m glad that Gail is back for good too. Except the 2 issues that they have a guest writer.
