Age of Apocalypse makes me want to shout from the rooftops how amazing it is, but in lieu of that I will write a review. It’s a wonderfully clever concept, the X-Terminators are a team of humans making their last stand against mutant kind. Iterations of Daredevil as Keeper Murdoch and the Hellfire Clubs’s Donald Pierce as a swank double agent make this an exciting tale outside the confines of the main Marvel universe so it feels like anything could happen.

The art is gritty and reflects the broke down world that is AoA perfectly. Lapham is balancing a very engaging main story while slowly revealing more about the team. So what else can I say but check out this book!
