Sina Grace knows retail. He knows it’s a weird world where the mundane and trivial can become a retail clerk’s lifeblood. This is also a world in which you meet the grizzled seasoned lifers who just may happen to have a skrull mouth or department manager who makes you a pawn in some chess game you want no part of.
This GN really resonates, aside from the retail story it’s also very personal tale that has alot of heart but never loses its sense of humor. It’s about navigating through the ghosts of the past and deciding to forge ahead. Also an awesome SATC style wrap up at the end that would make Carrie Bradshaw proud.
