August 7, 2013 3:51 am So true. So sad.
August 7, 2013 3:40 am I was debating picking this up again. Then, I saw the cover.
July 31, 2013 3:51 am KSD does no wrong.
July 31, 2013 3:50 am Quick recap... just read the recap on the first page. The series so far has just been a bunch of tiny arcs which is a huge rarity these days. Hulk comes in, takes care of business inside of 2-3 issues and moves on. That the series has been just these tiny arcs is the prime reason I enjoy it so much. I love the decompressed epic as much as the next guy but now and then I just want some set-up, SMASH, and then clean-up. Hulk delivers.
July 31, 2013 3:44 am Really been enjoying this.
July 23, 2013 4:46 am The general direction of the story seems easy to guess at. It would be nice to be wrong, of course. That said, I'm satisfied with just the world building going on here. That's what has me hooked on East of West and it's what's hooked me on Lazarus.
July 23, 2013 4:41 am Exactly what I was thinking. Also, while the art is certainly nice it's not what I want from Batman/Superman. I can't remember what happened last issue and that's how I decide if I'm getting the next one. This will actually be the first week since New 52 started that I won't be pulling any DC.
July 16, 2013 2:02 am I'm so freaking out about this book. It's been one of my absolute favorites. Every issue has made me laugh and I've loved Sam Alexander's utter lack of cynicism. He's just "I'm a superhero, how cool is that?" rather than... "I'm a superhero... geeze... what a bummer that is." that I see in too many books. So... yeah, freaking out about the writer change. I hope it stays good.
July 16, 2013 1:58 am This and Earth 2 are the only DC books I still pick up regardless of how big the week is. Asrar's art alone has been reason enough for me.
July 16, 2013 1:57 am I completely appreciate the comments I've seen regarding the necessity of giving Thanos an origin and that potentially messing up his mythos. That said, I only started reading Marvel with the Marvel Now initiative and have no idea who this guy is or why I should care. So, for me, it's been fantastic.
