    I’m a big fan if Thanos so I’m collecting this series but sometimes I don’t find it necessary to always explain a character’s past. There is sometimes fun in not knowing. Keeps the mystique.

    I completely appreciate the comments I’ve seen regarding the necessity of giving Thanos an origin and that potentially messing up his mythos.

    That said, I only started reading Marvel with the Marvel Now initiative and have no idea who this guy is or why I should care. So, for me, it’s been fantastic.
