  1. I’ve really loved this crossover.

  2. KSD does no wrong.

  3. I hate how right after this issue they start the whole Infinity-I-don’t-care-about-tie-ins. The contained stories were just what got me into reading this series, so I guess I better quit Captain Marvel. Bye, Carol Danvers!

    • Do what you like, but Marvel’s event tie-ins have been (as far as we’re told) entirely voluntary for creators going back at least a few years now. If Captain Marvel is tying into Infinity it’s probably because KSD has a relevant story she wants to tell.

    • It’s in DeKonnick’s best interest too to boost sales. So yea, maybe it’s voluntary, but that doesn’t mean the main reason for Kelly can’t be just attracting new readers.
Batwoman had also a story with Wonder Woman this year, which was great, but it didn’t force me to buy any Wonder Woman-issues at all. And that’s part of the appeal of the Batwoman-series to me. And that was part of the appeal of Captain Marvel to me.

  4. I jumped back on after being off for a handful of issues. I am interested in the upcoming Infinity tie-ins, and I was curious what the new “status-quo” is here. I liked that KSD made it easy to pickup and figure out what was going on – some standard super hero stuff but really makes me curious what comes next. Especially curious how Hickman will include this development in Avengers and Infinity proper. Good stuff.

  5. POTW

  6. I hope the ripped costume is a sign that something better is around the corner. It was a decent attempt to do something different, but it just didn’t work for the character.

    • Sorry to break it to you, but the solicitation covers for the next few issues (#17 in particular) seems to indicate that Carol isn’t getting a new costume any time soon!
