July 31, 2013 7:18 pm It's in DeKonnick's best interest too to boost sales. So yea, maybe it's voluntary, but that doesn't mean the main reason for Kelly can't be just attracting new readers. Batwoman had also a story with Wonder Woman this year, which was great, but it didn't force me to buy any Wonder Woman-issues at all. And that's part of the appeal of the Batwoman-series to me. And that was part of the appeal of Captain Marvel to me.

July 31, 2013 5:15 am I hate how right after this issue they start the whole Infinity-I-don't-care-about-tie-ins. The contained stories were just what got me into reading this series, so I guess I better quit Captain Marvel. Bye, Carol Danvers!

July 22, 2013 6:40 pm I loved the first seven or so issues of this series, but sad to say it is losing momentum pretty fast. I don't know if it's the absence of Snyder and March or just the Owl-story that has been stretched too far, but I hope they'll give Talon a nice ending in a few months from now.

July 10, 2013 1:59 pm HOLY SHIT! For all of you who thought the last few issues were awesome: this one is even better. First the art, it's amazing, it wouldn't surprise me if all the best panels this week turn out to be only from this issue. That's how great Rodriquez is. Second the story... the writing is really tight, no single boring moment. Thank you, Mark Waid.

July 9, 2013 8:20 am Delicious cover. I love the Astro City-style, the usage of light is really something fresh in contrast to Vertigo's (and DC's) darker titles.

July 9, 2013 8:18 am Every panel in the last comic gave me the strange feeling that Capullo and Snyder are constructing their masterpiece. The last issue alone had a lot of layers, really interessted to see how the two will be further exploring these.
