Thank God and Stan and Jack for a comic where something actually happens.

Anyone know why they took the "u's" out of those two words? They both would spell Fuhrer, but within those words, they are actual ranks in the military. So...why the censorship?
July 14, 2011 12:39 pm I don't know if anyone knows this but I sell comics for a living (at Jim Hanley's Universe). DD is one of my favorite characters, so I tell folks that if they read, in this order:

Born Again
Guardian Devil
Yellow

They get a really great love story of Matt and Karen. Seriously, it works on so many levels. After that, sure, jump into the Bendis/Maleev and then the Brubaker/Lark runs, but read those three in that order. I haven't had one person that I recommended this to come back and question it.
June 22, 2011 3:58 pm @TheNextChampion  I don't think you have to trade wait...should be out next week.
June 22, 2011 3:32 pm Must be nice to get comps or something.
This book didn't ship this week. At least not to our store (thanks, Diamond!)
April 7, 2011 12:21 am @wallythegreenmonster  Is Hamm really that big of a name? Don't get me wrong. I like the guy and enjoy his performances, but he's not Matthew McConaghey (sp) or Tom Cruise...he's yet to be a leading man in a feature film. Hell, he's not even Joseph Gordon Levitt.

That said, what better role than that of a second tier character to make your own?
April 6, 2011 10:59 am @KickAss  I disagree. If anyone can make her viable, it's Nolan. And if they did Selina's Big Score, it'd be a runaway hit.

I'd get Soderberg over Weisman for this movie, though. Maybe even Paul Greengrass. The movie has to equal the frenetic pace of Darwyn's underrated masterpiece.

Just as an aside, I would cast Jon Hamm as Ted Grant, aka Wildcat (who doesn't appear in the book, but could make a cameo).
April 4, 2011 2:32 pm Norm Breyfogle mentioned on Facebook that he'd be doing one of these...I imagine the Alan Grant Batman 90's book.
March 19, 2011 9:54 am you know, I'm anxious to see who he's going to be, but if we all agree he's going to be a villain, man, Chris Nolan leaving might be the worst thing for the franchise. He's the only director of a comic book film who can put multiple villains in a movie and still focus on the hero.
March 18, 2011 7:21 pm @MosteXtremeBrian  I was just about to say the same thing. She looks like Wonder Girl, but she passes as Wonder Woman. I'll watch.
