This is honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had reading a comic. It was brutally awful. I’m not normally a…

July 6, 2011 11:12 am Awesome! I'm 4 weeks away from becoming a father so I can relate to the pregnancy ones.
July 5, 2011 3:10 pm Just finished volume 1 last night. Perfect timing!
June 9, 2011 10:56 am I just Googled Moritat and found his DeviantArt page.  Here's a western page he did:http://moritat.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=24#/d1vwl4g
June 9, 2011 10:43 am Happy there will be a Jonah Hex book still, but I hope it stays as (or shortly after the debut returns to being) a done-in-one book.  Glad to see Palmiotti and Gray still on board, however, so I suppose I shouldn't worry too much.  Also hope they keep rotating artists every issue or two.  Also, the Blackhawks cover looks cool, reminds me almost of Sean Murphy art!
June 1, 2011 6:22 pm I know it's pretty unlikely, but I really hope they start off with only one Batman book, one Superman book, etc...  I feel like that would help get more people to buy into other heroes as well.  I know I personally started off only buying all dozen or so in-continuity Bat books a couple years back and then realized after several months that there were so many more heroes out there to read about that I previously knew nothing about (Green Lantern, Jonah Hex, etc...).  I was just too scared to miss something in one of the Bat books for the longest time until I decided not to care about that anymore.  I think less books related to each hero/family/team will help curtail that a little.
May 29, 2011 4:09 pm @AmirCat I believe Cristos signed a Marvel exclusive earlier this year, so he couldn't continue on with the book. I still thought this issue was pretty strong though! Looking forward to see where they're headed with this.
May 20, 2011 3:12 pm woohoo!  TMNT and Ghostbusters were my favorite things in the world when I was a kid...  Hoping IDW and the writers/artists do a better job with Turtles than with the Ghostbusters comics IDW has been releasing...
March 31, 2011 3:28 pm My most favorite toys ever! The cartoon aired i think when I was a baby but my older brothers had the toys and I kept buying more at flea markets when I was growing up.
February 8, 2011 10:30 am Awesome! Got this and the Thrawn Trilogy at Christmas time.
January 29, 2011 12:28 pm Oh wow this was so fun! I bought it on a whim not knowing what it was about nor seeing any art, but I love what Sean Murphy does on Joe the Barbarian. I read it all in one sitting this morning which might be a first for me (I usually make OGNs last for several sittings to feel like I got my money's worth). It was that good and exciting. I think I heard somewhere that this was autobiographical, but maybe not. Either way, I felt like this was me and a couple of my old friends in the story because I could really connect. If you love stories with the feel of "Stand By Me," I think you will really dig this. Think "Stand By Me" meets "Without a Paddle." 5 stars. Highly recommended.
