When three misfit friends from high school reunite after a string of bad luck in their personal lives, what is the first thing they do? Go off-roading, of course!

Trent, the art school student’s girlfriend has just broken up with him. Brad is a good guy, but his abusive father is making his life hell. Greg is full of money, but he’s as aimless as he is rich.

Each one thinks that challenging Mother Nature is somehow going to fix whatever issues they’re dealing with. That is if they ever get their Jeep out of the increasingly bizarre swamp that they are trapped in.

    I’d love to hear comments or reviews on this.  I saw some preview pages (on Amazon actually) and it looks good, but I’m wondering if the actual whole story is good or not.  I’m definitely drawn to this because I’ve become a recent fan of Sean Murphy.

    Oh wow this was so fun! I bought it on a whim not knowing what it was about nor seeing any art, but I love what Sean Murphy does on Joe the Barbarian. I read it all in one sitting this morning which might be a first for me (I usually make OGNs last for several sittings to feel like I got my money’s worth). It was that good and exciting. I think I heard somewhere that this was autobiographical, but maybe not. Either way, I felt like this was me and a couple of my old friends in the story because I could really connect. If you love stories with the feel of “Stand By Me,” I think you will really dig this. Think “Stand By Me” meets “Without a Paddle.” 5 stars. Highly recommended.
