Just finished #1. Initial reactions – wow. This really felt like a labour of love from Murphy. It’s tremendously well…

August 10, 2012 7:23 pm I'd concur with that. The art shift was a little jarring but both on their own were excellent in isolation. Harper kicks ass.
August 10, 2012 2:40 pm I think Mandrake's art suits the story really well actually.
August 9, 2012 12:13 pm Another great issue, really love the art too. Can't wait for the finale!
August 9, 2012 12:11 pm Partly because #3 wraps up the first arc, partly because I need to spend less on comics, I think I'm done with this one now. I enjoyed it but not quite enough.
July 17, 2012 7:18 pm Murphy tweeted that 25 years later was a mistake
July 11, 2012 11:18 am This is good, guys. It's not a zombie book, it's really not.
July 11, 2012 10:45 am That's a great point. I thought the whole thing was absolutely amazing, regardless, but there does seem to be an error there somewhere. There's a 7 year mistake somewhere. Either it was 1994, or the "25 years later" is wrong because it's definitely set mostly in 2019. It's obviously a minor thing. I'm guessing it could be the 25 years later, because the date in the paper was obviously deliberate and it's obviously 2019. The violence in Ireland doesn't exactly clear up the date either cos it lasted forever.
July 10, 2012 2:48 pm Worst solicit ever?
July 10, 2012 11:49 am Coincidentally only heard about this today on the Fuzzy Typewriter podcast. Sounds intriguing! Unfortunately I'm doubtful whether my local shop here in the UK will have any of this as I obviously didn't pre-order but I'll be scouring the "new comics" shelves first thing tomorrow morning :) Sometimes being in the UK has it's benefits though, my comic book store may be small but it opens 5 hours earlier ;)
July 10, 2012 5:30 am I was intrigued enough by the zero issue to give this a shot. Quite lucky that my store here in the UK actually even had a copy of the #0 weeks after it came out
