July 10, 2012 5:29 am Love this book. Can't wait.
July 10, 2012 5:29 am I think it's a somewhat bizarre idea all around and I don't see where it's going to go. That's why I'm picking it up! That and it's SGM...
July 10, 2012 5:27 am After the last page of #1, you gotta come back for #2!
July 10, 2012 5:27 am I'm glad we're getting to the Swampy-Buddy crossover now, not that either is dragging, but I think they would soon.
July 9, 2012 11:33 am Saw this breakdown over on the CBR forums, and it's fantastic work, Desaad. I only noticed about half of this and I've read the series so far 3 or 4 times already! I really really adore this series already, it's refreshing from DC
July 5, 2012 11:07 am I've not been hating Detective Comics quite as much as some but this will be a good reason to stick it out through the next few issues because I was wavering.
July 4, 2012 5:22 am I love this series!
July 4, 2012 5:21 am Was it "Story by Joe Hill" that gave it away? haha Can't decided whether to trade-wait on this one, I read the original mini digitally and I'm gonna be grabbing the HC of that so I might want to be consistent cos I'm like that.
July 3, 2012 3:30 pm If the take-away message of this piece is how I interpretted it - "cut the crap" - then, too right! People say this attitude will kill comics, but at some point you have to think about yourself, and your own enjoyment. Why spend money on something every month if you're not enjoying it? Or if you would prefer it in a trade? Buy what you like, and if you don't like it drop it quickly before you waste more money on a poor comic!
May 24, 2012 6:18 pm I've never read a Star Wars comic, but I've read Fringe and Firefly/Serenity comics and recently a Star Trek comic. I've found I quite like revisiting these universes I've enjoyed in other media so I'm giving this one a shot based on some good reviews.
