Name: Clayton Scholefield

Bio: "First comes smiles, then lies. Last is gunfire." - Roland Deschain, of Gilead.Big fan of comics in general. Batman and Daredevil are favorites, but also enjoy immensely what indy books have to offer. ASP, Oni, Top Shelf, and Dark Horse (can this really be called an "indy" any more?) are some of my favorite publishers. My big comicbook crisis is trying to determine what to read monthly and what to trade wait for. I never seem to have a handle on this sort of management. Sometimes I end up double-dipping!The gang at iFanboy here have done well to make me check out books that may not of hit my radar the first time around. Fear Agent and Fell are examples of this. I am greatful for the work they do here. I may not post much, but I am a daily visitor.

January 23, 2013 1:52 am As someone proud to say that I've been a paying member for several years now, I'm really excited for everyone involved. More importantly, I mean EVERYONE. You all are doing a fantastic job here. This isn't a funeral that's about to happen. It's a freakin' celebration! I can't thank you guys enough for being the "everything about comics" that gives me the perfect fix every week. I'm pulling out the 12 year rum for this sucker. You deserve it. My belly will accept on your behalf.

January 17, 2013 2:27 am Oh God... not this again! I don't want this. I can't handle this. This is exactly like watching Seven for the very first time. That damn box! Don't open it! (Open it!) NO NO NO NOOOO!!! Damn you Snyder. (No, not at all)
January 17, 2013 2:19 am The Joker holding a baby - ending to No Man's Land. The butt kick? Anyone?
January 10, 2013 12:32 pm Frank Miller. Who knew that by making Batman older and fatter that he was simply more badass. Plus, that Bat-tankmobile? Holy crap Batman! Love it! Honorable mention - Mazzucchelli
December 26, 2012 3:18 pm They really need to release a second volume for Catwoman. Bru's first 32 issues of that run are a must have. You can't go wrong with Cameron Stewart and Guests on the art.
December 26, 2012 3:13 pm I have always liked Allreds's style, but after his DD issue and then his Wolverine issue, he broke through to my "must buy list" when I see his name on something. I then proceeded to make my biggest risk purchase. The X-Static Omnibus. Never read any of it. Not a fan of x universe stuff. I'm 6 issues in now. Brilliant! It also helps to see that Cooke and Pope are in this collection too. Can't believe that I missed out on this when it 1st hit.
December 23, 2012 12:18 pm This book gets an automatic 5 star rating from here on out. I have never done something like this before here, but this book more than deserves it. It was the last book I read from my stack this week and it'll continue to be the last book I read when the next 2 come out. Yes, I hurt a little. Think I'll have a pint soon.
December 14, 2012 1:36 pm Because I hold this book in such high regard, it gets a more critical response from me. I don't know why. I'm just built that way I guess. "A very good issue that could of been better" is the feeling I have. I was hoping for a better payoff, but I'm still hooked into seeing what happens next. For me, Jock steals it. His work here shines and further solidifies, in my mind, why Black Mirror is the best Snyder Batman story to date.
December 14, 2012 1:26 pm It has to be said that you don't see a cover act as an opening panel often if at all. That was brilliantly executed and deserves a mention.
