What a week in comics!
A horny devil? (Daredevil) Check.
A beating to remember? (Batman) Check.
A lying bastard? (Hellblazer) Check.
An indestructible jaguar-God with a fancy for human flesh? (This very issue!) This was intense. I don’t think I have seen so many eyeballs go flying. And the blood. Lots of blood. This was like watching that Goya painting of Saturn devouring his Son come to life. I think James Harren just obtained his rockstar staus card on this one. His work here is beautiful, disturbing, and full of energy. Did I say that there is a lot of blood?
