June 25, 2013 3:36 am I am scared.. this book is just so regular now :-) It's still on eof teh best "superbooks" out there... Oeming is possibly my favourite artist right now - got even a kick out of his Superman Adventures... that dude is really bumping out crazy stuff no one else does in mainstream right now...
June 25, 2013 3:33 am Kuder is really selling it for me... last issue was the best of teh whole run so far... just in time to be honest since I was losing hope :-) The whole "H'el on Earh was something that took time of my life I'll never get back :-) But if last issue was a starting point, they can really have my money...
June 25, 2013 3:29 am This I am really looking forward... expectations are high!!!
June 25, 2013 3:29 am I still stick with Bats, but mainly for Capullo (he scratches an itch I am having for thsi kind of art)... but the stories are meh.. that said, American Vampires is great and the first issue was good enough to pick up number 2... and Sean Murphy.. I mean... WOW
May 27, 2013 3:56 am You nailed my feelings with this issue... So far I just didn't connect with the "Superman" title... not since Numer 1... So far pretty much everything was average or below.. this was the first issue I thought was fun and that was surprising since I thought #19 was incredibly bad... I was about to drop Superman for the first time in almost 20 years... SPOILER I dunno, I wanna see more Diana in this book --- I think it would be nice if we could see more of that relationship... so far imo we see glimpses here and there and I think that is way underrating this somehow obvious but still bold move to have them together and leave Lois on the side... I just hope Lobdell now found it's voice for this book and #20 is teh benchmark for things to come....
May 21, 2013 3:43 pm I want this movie to be great.. but i am so sick of "powers gone" stories... it's lazy writing imo...
May 16, 2013 9:12 am I assume the worst just how they tested babyclarks invulnerability...
February 14, 2013 3:41 am Excactly... in my mind, Powers isn't even a monthly book... I am just happy when it's there all of a sudden :-) the issue was great...
December 27, 2012 10:34 am good list... I do not care about Conan or Godzilla, so those will escape me forever, but those on this list I haven't tried I will... since I wasn't struck down by DMZ but really like dystopian stories, The Massive might be for me... Is it just me, or is there just too much good stuff out there to catch it all when it comes out? Sheesh... when was a better time in comics as a reader? Punk Rock Jesus was my No 2 and Saga of course No. 1... I mean... PJ and Saga feature my 2 favourite artists and Saga has perfect writing as well... PJ I liked a lot... but I am waiting for No. 6 since it is a mini series and the end is pretty important to me for the overall judgement :-)
December 13, 2012 8:16 am I for my part am looking forward to this... though it had it's flaws i also liked Origins... why not? Jackman is cool as Wolverine and this will be a fun ride as well... X-Men 3 was a stinker but Jackman as Logan... count me in... and they only have to make it slightly better than the last time and we will all be happy (but I seem to be a very easy target group... I even enjoyed Iron Man 2 and stuff, so I guess I am not very critical as some other folks here :-) )...
