November 27, 2012 4:52 am hmm... the tie ins of Supergirl and Superboy so far were just "setting the stage" books I guess.. a litlle blabla and a little showing what this H'El can do... I guess you could just stick to Superman alone... I mean, honestly... they gonna expalin everything on the first page anyway :-) e.g. Superboy was not necessary so far ... H'El just kicked his behind... well, but we know he would from the statement above I guess :-) I am getting Supergirl every month, so that made sense for me but I felt kinda lost with the Superboy book which I do not read - I guess I am more lost in the tie ins than at the main book missing the tie ins :-)
November 21, 2012 3:03 pm :-) I always went and still go for French books (and European in general) to the Comic Treff ... really like that shop... I just had my collection sorted out and I figured i spent approx. 45k Euros on comics the last decade... that is a lot and buying directly from graphicly or comixology I can real cut my spendings AND get the stuff faster... I admit, at first I missed the prints (I am a grafic desigenr, so print means a lot to me), but I really just go digital on single issue and on stuff I can't get easily in Vienna (like Comeback '1... or the whole Joe the barbarian thing...) But I get it... trades and hardcover I still value higher
November 21, 2012 8:56 am Hi, I live in Vienna to... I switched almost completely to digital... then you pay the American price in Euro (which is a good deal I geuss) and you can even get them same day as residents of the US :-) And I like my books digitally.. trades I still get in print! But of course, digital is not everybodies darling... aber für mich ists mittlerweile echt absolut okay bei Comics... :-)
November 19, 2012 4:35 am I think that's due to two things really: first in TV you simply can't be as crazy as in a comic... just compare the costs... whatever you do in Comics, if it fails, yeah well, tough break for the 5 people involved and maybe a couple of thousand bucks down the drain... but mess up a TV show? Weeeeell... good luck... I guess that's why Hollywood is so eager to only produce proffed concepts... kinda fail safe plans and second... I dunno how long you are reading WD, but for me it's almost a decade now - and I really keep enjoying that ride .. if a TV show would be able to top that in 2 years, well, I would really question my reason why I am loving comics so much :-) Otherwise I agree... but I think season 3 really gets to the levels of the book overall
November 13, 2012 9:09 am Hoskins came as a surprise... and I need a lot of fantasy for that one... the others I could imagin easily... Norton is American X even had the build...

November 2, 2012 4:48 am looks interesting... definitly something to pick up
October 31, 2012 8:38 am Well, I have to admit, I kinda closed my brain to anything “new” regarding Star Wars… I am happy with the treasure I have and the stuff I had put in the last decades or so… I think I can only enjoy Star Wars “new” if it’s really something new and not the same thing all over again in order to sell as many jar Jar toys as possible… There are great (and not so great) concepts around Jedis and Sith and this galaxy far, far away… I am willing to see stories of Exar Kun or some serious future of Star Wars (like 100 years in the future)… I need no Han Solo story with Justin Timberlake playing Han Solo or Justin Bieber playing Luke… and Kurt Russel as Chewie… If they are off to really get something new going, I am in… if it’s just the same again, I know I won’t like it, since my affection as a 32years old dude cannot compete with the excitment of myself as a kid
October 31, 2012 8:32 am that's actually a thought I can share 100%
October 23, 2012 3:36 am first of... I wasn't so let down by Iron Man 2 as everyone else... the first was better, but well, the second was okay as well.. this trailer looks "okay"... I mean, the first 2 movuies make me watch number 3 ... but it's true, it looks more violent
