Wonder Woman is the first comic from the New DC Universe that I can full-heartedly endorse. This book drops plot hooks and hints from beginning to end while also providing enough details to suggest a rich world where the modern and mythic collide. We only get a taste of Diana in this issue, but what’s there shows that the creative staff is taking her in an encouraging direction. The artwork is appropriate, carefully blend the light and dark. Overall, I highly recommend this book for both newcomers to Wonder Woman and fans familiar with this epic character.
