This is just a fantastic melding of Wildstorm into the DCU, with Cornell just running with the concept instead of spending a couple pages trying to explain it. He arguably keeps Martian Manhunter in character even if he gives him a dark side that, while I have never seen, could have been shown in the much praised Ostrander series I was too young to experience. Miguel Sepulveda unfortunately brings a damper to the books fun concepts with some very dark and oddly blocked shadows as I see in his usual stuff. The pages featuring the giant worm creature or Manhunter's transformed state hold amazing potential if he could just figure out how to keep his inks from flattening the page everywhere else.
