Much like last week’s Justice League, this book was the text book definition of “a solid 4 out of 5”.

I’ve been a Stormwatch/Authority fan since the late 90s, so I really enjoyed seeing Cornell fold bits of the past into this new status quo (the fact that there are more century babies out in the DCU is intriguing to say the least).

This book seemed like a ripe candidate for some caption boxes introducing the characters rather than wedging their names into the dialogue. The art wasn’t totally my thing, but it never took me out of the story.

So yeah, a totally mega-solid 4 out of 5. I liked what we got here despite a couple blemishes, and I’m excited to see where it goes in the months to come.
