New DC Comics Logo: Confirmed and Now In Multiple Thematic Colors! (UPDATE)
January 19, 2012 12:49 pm Curious to see how the "C" effects (glow, smoke, sparks, etc) will look printed on a comic, assuming that's the road this will go down. Might be weird to see that GL-glowing logo up in the corner of my next GL comic buy.
Love the fuel-on-the-fire potential with that Watchmen logo too.

Hoping To Recapture That ‘Smallville’ Magic, The CW Orders ‘Arrow’ Pilot
January 13, 2012 12:18 pm I'm wondering if they'll use material from the Supermax spec script from a few years back. Guggenheim was one of the guys on that, right? Would be a cool way to do an Arrow show with integration of that larger media DC Nation thing they're putting together.

Marvel’s Next Big Thing: SECRET AVENGERS with Rick Remender & Gabriel Hardman
January 9, 2012 4:31 pm I'm a big CapBrit fan, so I'm glad to see him getting some love from one of my favorite writers AND one of my favorite artists. I'm glad they put Brian back in the "ice cream cone costume" too. Curious to see how Brian plays off of Fantomex in the next UXF (Two of my favorite characters in one room!).

DC Goes Back to the Future in Both Digital and Print with BATMAN BEYOND and JUSTICE LEAGUE BEYOND
November 15, 2011 3:45 pm I loved the JLU (JLB?) characters, so I'm really excited to see their continuing adventures. Here's hoping the BB ongoing is a little more like the cartoon (brief, fun adventures with an edge) and a little less wrapped up in continuity.

Remake & Reboot: A Doctor Strange Comic Series
October 5, 2011 7:02 pm Am I the only person who really likes Mark Waid's miniseries from a few years back? I think that format (Strange as a weakened sorcerer, training up an apprentice, on the run from the demons he used to beat regularly, etc) was a great new window into the character. Restore him to Sorcerer Supreme, keep the girl apprentice around, have fun at-home stuff with Wong. Open up that portal into the non-Asgard magic side of Marvel again in style.
Canete and Bachalo would both be amazing on art. Not sure about Bendis on words though. That guy seems a little stretched-thin nowadays. I'd say give it to a B-stringer as his/her big push forwards, like when Fraction co-wrote Iron Fist. Not sure who though.
