As my tweet to the immensely talented Francesco Francavilla read, typed out immediately after my closing of this book, “Garrison was the tits, good sir.”

An excellent opening to a mystery by Mariotte and beautiful sequential art by Francavilla, I cannot recommend Garrison highly enough to seekers of non-superhero comics. Garrison is an action thriller in comic form, but it doesn’t just feel like a pitch to a studio.

Definitely excited to see where issue two takes us and where the mystery of Garrison leads.
