February 24, 2014 2:51 am I love Chris Samnee's cartooning. It's art and storytelling like this that keeps my love for superhero comics alive and burning.
February 20, 2014 1:00 pm Nice musical pick! Who's the Pipettes fan?
December 10, 2013 7:11 am You guys should check out The Sixth Gun over-sized Hardcover Vol. 1 (collecting issues 1-11). It's HUGE (13.2 x 8.8 inches), beautifully printed and full of extras (concept art, sketches, pitches, illustrations, covers, etc.). It is a must buy for fans of the title or Brian Hurtt's art and it's the perfect occasion for everybody else to jump on. It's a great, great book. Retail price is USD 60 but it can be found for significantly less on Amazon and the likes (I'm from Europe and I got it for half, shipping included, from Amazon UK). There is also a limited "Gunslinger" edition (USD 120) which looks insanely beautiful but you can only order it directly from ONI and I can't afford to import it to Europe (between taxes and shipping it would cost me a fortune). http://oni-press.myshopify.com/products/the-sixth-gun-hardcover-gunslinger-edition
September 2, 2013 2:10 pm This site and its community had a big role into reigniting my love for US comics (I am European) and I really enjoyed hanging around here. I'll miss the site as it was but, alas, to everything there is a season (turn, turn, turn, etc.). For me, it means that from now on I will have more time to actually read comics instead of reading about them. I'm grateful for the time I could spend in the most enjoyable comics community on the net and I wish you all the best in your future adventures. Thank you guys!
August 31, 2013 2:05 am So stoked to find Ivo Milazzo in this page! He is on of my all time favorites.
August 22, 2013 7:35 pm This is a book I was expecting to love but I'm struggling with. This whole DEO blackmail driven plot doesn't work for me. I still love the character though and I plan on sticking with the book. Hopefully the confrontation with Batman will bring riddance from DEO, and maybe also closure with her ties from the past . I'd love to see what a free Kate would be up to.
August 15, 2013 2:55 pm I enjoyed the first arc but the whole Fantomex(es) love affair left me perplexed (even if the idea itself was good). I'll give it another 2 issues to win me back.
August 15, 2013 1:27 pm Apparently ending with #18 in November.
August 15, 2013 10:47 am @MollyMcIsaac: is getting "sloshed all the time" supposed to come across as a positive thing?
August 15, 2013 8:58 am I'm bummed. I really love both titles. I wish they put another writer on the Inhumans book. And with Allred leaving after #16 I can't see how can FF carry on. On the other hand, I'd be totally happy with a long Kesel/Bagley run on Fantastic Four.
