This is just a disappointing end to a book that fizzled shortly after it started. While the framing sequences may…

February 3, 2012 4:45 pm This is probably a good decision. I've been reading both from their starts. Irredeemable was awesome but meandered a bit as it kept going. Incorruptible was always well-written but it felt a little unfocused and repetitive. I'm actually pretty excited to see both books move toward actual conclusions. It just seems like this storyline has always been something better resolved than left dragging.
February 1, 2012 1:36 pm This whole announcement makes me conflicted internally. I thought they were getting away from the past, although I should have known that this was a moneymaker they would never let pass by entirely. The creators involved are, for the most part, top notch, but this somehow still feels like a bunch of fan fiction. It's just not necessary. I'm sure I'll end up reading some of these (particularly the Darwyn Cooke stuff and maybe the Azzarello/Jones Comedian series), but it still does make me feel a little dirty.
January 12, 2012 4:57 pm If they do a time travel story, I would love to see them include the Vatican, where I saw shows throughout high school. If this happens, they're required to focus part of the story on the tortilla factory that was across the street and seemingly open 24 hours.
March 31, 2011 12:32 pm I believe that Aquaman is trapped in the desert at this point. Apparently vulture blood works just as well as water. I remember being really excited about this book because it had everyone in it, but it is completely incomprehensible.
January 25, 2011 3:16 pm I do feel bad for the employees who no longer have jobs (and have had to deal with some serious idiocy from the sound of it). I used to have a subscription to Wizard actually, and I have to say that their impossible-to-contact subscription department seemed to simply not exist. So I'm not really all that surprised that this is the way things are.

I will also say that I've got to agree with the folks who have mentioned the large number of proofing and editing errors. I know a couple of mistakes will get through sometimes, but there were a lot of mistakes in ever single issue.
December 17, 2010 12:36 pm I know it's not very recent, but I wish their Legion Lost and subsequent Legion reboot at the turn of (this) century would get some props. That was when I first got into their work and really saw what they could do with cosmic storylines. Great stuff there, and hopefully great stuff to come here as well.
November 19, 2010 6:40 pm Avengers Academy is, in my opinion, far and away the most engaging and entertaining of the Avengers books.

I love Cloak and Dagger, but I think maybe they've gotten so mired down in their own backstory that it's made it difficult to really make them interesting enough to sustain an ongoing. I just feel like I've read their origin 8,000 times.

Nova really does make me sad, as his last book along with Guardians of the Galaxy reminded me why I love Marvel, while all of the other Marvel books are currently failing to do the same.

And while I know it's a team book and not a character, Agents of Atlas deserves a mention.

September 15, 2010 11:50 am I don't know what it was about the Flash glasses, but mine broke as well. I've still got Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, and Green Lantern to drink out of though. And my awesome Two-Face bookends. God, I miss that store.
