This is just a disappointing end to a book that fizzled shortly after it started. While the framing sequences may…

July 1, 2010 3:47 pm Growing up in a town that was never able to sustain a comic shop for more than a year at a time, I used to buy lots of my comics at Hastings. I'm not in the same place anymore, but this is great news for the people who do live in those towns and don't really have any other local outlet to buy comics.
April 16, 2010 4:59 pm Yeah, did I miss some Jubilee vampire tale somewhere along the way? Are they just trying to pick up on the enduring success of vampire Looker from the Outsiders, because that really worked out well.

I actually mostly caught Moore's run by picking up issues for a dollar at the Houston airport when I was a kid. I don't know why they were there either. I later had the trade of Gaiman's run. I always really enjoyed the character and the stories from both of those, so I'm interested to get some more background on the character (aside from the histories I've read).

March 22, 2010 7:12 pm S'okay by me. He's been at least decent in everything I've seen him in (and actually pretty good in some of it), and he was definitely the only part of the Fantastic Four movies that didn't make me contemplate self-immolation (Human Torch pun actually not intended). Keep in mind that this could have been Chace Crawford, and then I think we can probably agree that things could be worse.
March 17, 2010 2:19 pm Is it strange that my own comment made me want to see Carl next to him dressed as Jubilee?

Well, it's nice to see they've found their Wolverine. Now if they add Rick to at least half of the books Image publishes, they can really make good use of him.

This is a great gag, although I will admit that if this book happens, I would buy it in a second.

February 22, 2010 1:57 pm Yeah, but at least Legend of the Superheroes had Marsha Warfield, and the follow-up Roast had Ed McMahon...and the terrifying love combination of the Atom and Giganta.

Although my personal favorite doomed pilot has to be the one for Wonder Woman:

I saw this years ago. Still love the fact that a green David Ogden Stiers=Martian Manhunter. If they had painted him on MASH, I bet that show would have been a classic.

For some reason, I always think Matt Frewer was in this, but then I recall that he was actually in the Generation X TV movie that came out around the same time.
