The Strange Talent of Luther Strode_6

I surprised myself with this pick. I was expecting it to be Saga, which don’t get me wrong, it was…

This was so much fun. I really hope this brings younger readers to read comics. I’m a 16 year-old guy…

I feel Millar is a love him or hate him writer. I’m rarely in the middle about his books. I…

May 24, 2012 5:40 pm I can't wait for this! X-O Manowar was great and this Valiant relaunch is one of my most anticipated things in comics right now. I hadn't even heard of them before the relaunch, but it looks to be a great new superhero universe for me to jump into.
May 22, 2012 8:43 pm Saucer Country, Resident Alien, and Manhattan Projects are all fantastic books, some of the best books being published now, along with Saga. Higher Earth started off fairly average, but I'm hoping it'll pick up. I'm really excited for Planetoid and The Hypernaturals. The FCBD issue of Hypernaturals was really fun!
May 22, 2012 6:25 pm I loved #0! I have been eagerly awaiting this for months now, and I can't wait to see how the story progresses! I love the smallness of the story.
May 22, 2012 6:24 pm I'd recommend finding the 0 issue first, it really sets up the whole premise. They should have just made it a #1 instead.
May 14, 2012 8:31 pm I love this series, but it doesn't compare to Saga or Manhattan Projects, those are sheer brilliance and originality. Saucer Country is great too though.
May 14, 2012 6:27 pm Yeah, but it was supposed to come out in the 2009, Kirkman-only Top Cow Pilot Season. So it's a bit late.
May 10, 2012 6:42 pm Wow! What a fascinating twist! I can't wait to see how this story progresses! POTW!
May 8, 2012 3:12 pm I agree, this is easily one of my top ten favorite books out there. Way above average, in terms of both writing and art.
May 6, 2012 8:11 pm You guys should check it out.
May 6, 2012 8:09 pm I'm disappointed none of you tried X-O Manowar despite the fact that your podcast is sponsored by Valiant. I've never read or even really heard of Valiant yet I found myself very excited about the relaunch. The book was great too, it didn't at all feel like a 90's book. It felt modern and unique.
