January 6, 2019 11:42 pm Wait wait. There’s a Ryan Adams book out?
May 30, 2017 4:00 pm I totally replayed Ron saying "Wonder Woman" at least three times.
March 1, 2017 9:36 am Excellent points about World War II's impact on the Marvel Universe. Speaking of, Reed and Ben Grimm both served as I recall and I *think* Ben was a pilot in Korea as well. Anyone know if that's been retconned or is it one of those "if we don't talk about it, it never happened " sort of things.
February 18, 2017 9:31 pm Having one of these focus on someone besides the core Justice League, it sounds like they're finally playing to me so it sounds like I'll have to check this one out. Related to which, it does say something about the bubble I live in that I honestly didn't realize New Frontier didn't sell that well. I've enjoyed some of the other DC animated films, but I LOVED New Frontier. Heck, that movie was my entryway to Darwyn's work, so it wasn't even that I was already a fan.
December 9, 2016 3:13 pm I think it's less that this generation of creators isn't capable of coming up with epic characters, more that those characters tend to get saved for their indie efforts. And I honestly can't blame them. If I'm choosing between pouring my heart and soul into personal characters that a Corporation is going to make money off of and I don't get a dime beyond a page rate or I use them to tell my own stories in an independent work, that's an easy choice.
June 14, 2016 4:48 pm I'm running a week or two behind on the podcast, but for those wondering why Greg Smallwood's name sounded familiar is that not only was he the primary artist on DREAM THIEF, but he also is/was a member of the iFanbase.
May 23, 2016 6:02 pm As much as it hurts to lose someone like Darwyn as a fan, I can't imagine how much it hurts to lose him as a friend. Thank you so much for sharing those memories and thanks for the panel at WonderCon.
May 2, 2016 1:54 pm I *may* have listened to Capullo's pre-Batman books ten times. Maybe. Ok, definitely.
December 11, 2015 11:42 am I wish Epting were more prolific, but I'll take how ever many issues of Velvet I can get.
September 4, 2015 5:34 pm The YouTubery is up and it's the best.
